Excessive alcohol consumption and illegal drugs place an unnecessary social, financial and health burden on society.

When drinking alcohol make sure you know your limits, look after your mates and enjoy a safe night out. ACT Policing has zero tolerance for alcohol fuelled violence and antisocial behaviour.  

Illicit drugs

Illicit drugs are an ongoing priority for ACT Policing as they place an unnecessary financial, social and health burden on the community.

Drugs and the law

ACT Policing actively targets the sale, distribution and supply of illegal drugs in our community. There are a number of penalties in the ACT if you posses, sell, distribute or manufacture illegal drugs.
