We want to reassure you all that ACT Policing is committed to keeping Canberra safe and strong.

We're doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the community. We are taking precautionary measures and will continue to act on the most current health advice.

The below changes to police services are currently in place.

Exhibit Management Centre: The Exhibit Management Centre (including Firearms Registry) at 86 Vicars Street Mitchell is open by appointment only. For details how to make an appointment visit the Exhibit Management Centre page.

Events: Attendance at community events and engagements have been suspended.

Constable Kenny Koala: Visits to schools and other locations have been suspended.

If you need to contact police, remember these numbers:

  • Triple Zero (000) – only in an emergency or life-threatening situation
  • Police Assistance (131 444) – when you require help but it's not life threatening or a time critical emergency

In times like these we need to remain calm, be kind and respectful. We are all in this together.
