Man arrested for sexual assault offences

A 33-year-old Chisholm man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, October 15) for sexual assault related offences in Mawson.

Around 11pm on Friday (October 12), police attended the Mawson Club after receiving reports that a man attempted to sexually assault a woman outside the club.

The man was arrested at the Richardson shops around 8pm on Saturday (October 13), and was taken to the ACT Watch House.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning, charged with sexual assault related offences. Police will be opposing bail.
