Rider critical after fall near Tidbinbilla

A 23-year-old rider is in a critical condition at The Canberra Hospital after falling from his motorcycle on Tidbinbilla Rd, about 900 metres south of the Point Hut Crossing intersection late yesterday (Saturday, 28 April).
The motorcyclist, from Kaleen, had been on a ride with a friend, who was following some distance behind on another motorcycle when the incident occurred around 5.30pm.
The injured man appeared to lose control of his Yamaha on a gentle right-hand bend. He suffered head injuries in the fall.
ACT Policing’s Crash Investigation and Reconstruction Team attended the location and its investigations are ongoing.
