The AFP's Volunteers in Policing (VIP) Program operates within the ACT, in support of the activities of ACT Policing. The team is a diverse group from a variety of backgrounds and brings a broad range of skills and experience to ACT Policing.
As a Police Volunteer, you have the opportunity to help make a difference to your community, whether it's with events, communications, administration or program support. Being a Police Volunteer is one of the most satisfying and rewarding volunteer programs the country has to offer.

- catering at training exercises and workshops

The Program operates between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday with very limited after-hours or weekend work. No remuneration is paid to Police Volunteers.
