Eyes on the Street

“Eyes on the Street” is a coordinated information gathering initiative that encourages and enables employees from participating business or government agencies to provide information on people acting suspiciously, suspicious vehicles - particularly in neighbourhood and commercial areas - and identified criminal activities; and to report it to police. BizSafe

The BizSafe program is a Crime Prevention initiative which is proudly supported by the ACT & Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ACT Regional CrimeStoppers.
 
Crime against businesses has an impact on the entire community. The costs are often not just financial; crime also has emotional and psychological effects. The good news is that everyone can play a part in reducing and preventing crime.

The BizSafe program aims to give you information about the sorts of crimes that commonly affect business in your community. You will learn strategies to prevent and reduce crime, and that can improve safety for you, your staff and your customers.
