Welcome to the ACT Policing website.
This website is designed to help keep you informed of policing activities in the ACT. It is accessible from both the AFP website and via a new address; police.act.gov.au.
Key features
Crime statistics
The ACT Policing website allows you to access crime statistics, issued monthly, of offences reported or becoming known in patrol regions and ‘sectors’ across the ACT. The idea of this is to provide the community with a clear understanding of crime in their area.
The publication of crime statistics is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding between the ACT Government and ACT Policing.
RSS news feeds
News feeds are RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds which allow you to conveniently access ACT Policing news items as soon as they are published, by having them delivered straight to you via email.
RSS feeds save you time on the web as they are an alternative way to distribute web content without requiring you to constantly visit the website to see what’s new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks which then direct you to the published content.
You can subscribe to timely updates from the ACT Policing website. Whenever we update our news items, the information is automatically updated and displayed in your reader.
Search capability
The ACT Policing website has a more advanced search facility. You can now search media release content or news content or both.
